Image Guidelines

We want your portrait to look awesome and accurate, so we need you to follow some simple image guidelines when uploading your photos. These guidelines will help us to create a gorgeous portrait that matches your expectations and shows off your pet’s features.

  • Please make sure your photo is high quality and taken in daylight or a bright room. Most smartphones are good enough.

  • Make sure the whole face & neck is visible and not in shadows.

  • The best photos are taken as a close up at eye level. Don't by shy and bend down to snap the perfect shot.

  • Please note that we'll create your pet portrait based on the provided photo. Contact us for any changes or additions.

  • We’ll get in touch with you if your photo is not suitable.
  • Example 1 - Good Images

    • Pet facing camera at eye level
    • Great lighting
    • Face & neck are clearly visible
  • Example 2 - Bad Images

    • Angled face & not at eye level
    • Low lighting & heavy shadows
  • Example 3 - Bad Image

    • Head & neck not completely visible.
    • Cute! but you will get a portrait of a sheet with eyes.

Not sure if your images are good enough?

Shoot us an email support@fluffes.com and we’ll let you know. We often create portraits of pets that have passed away, so we get it’s not always possible to follow all of the guidelines above.

No worries, in many cases, we can still make it happen!
